What to look for
“Personal trainer” is not a protected title in Switzerland. Meaningful credentials are the federal certificate or diploma in exercise and health promotion, the quality label of the Swiss Personal Trainer Association (SPTV), a degree in sports science, or Qualitop certification, which many supplementary insurers require.
